Inlays & Onlays

 
Inlays and Onlays are a great way to restore teeth that have suffered extensive damage.

Decay, trauma and large fillings can lead to a significant loss of your natural tooth structure. Rather than extracting a heavily damaged tooth, inlays and onlays can save a heavily damaged tooth using fabricated material that is permanently cemented into place.

Inlays are placed into the tooth, whilst onlays are placed on top of the remaining tooth structure.

We can construct inlays and onlays from a range of materials including porcelain, gold and composite resin. Our experienced dentist will evaluate your tooth to see if it is suitable for an Inlay or Onlay, and can recommend the best restoration material for your individual situation.
